This is a display case in the Dr. John Minahan Science Hall on St. Norbert's campus that contains information and materials about Fr. Keefe. The materials include: pressed plant specimens, Fr. Keefe's personal microscope, microscope slides, a box…
This is a warning label found on the inside of one of the St. Norbert College Herbarium plant specimen cabinets. The felt is still intact on the doors, but would go unnoticed if it wasn't for this warning label.
This is a sample of Clary, Salvia selarea, that Fr. Keefe collected from the SNC Science Hall Greenhouse and preserved himself. The brilliant blue colors of the petals can still be seen.
This is an additional sample of Clary, Salvia selarea, that Fr. Keefe collected in June of 1969. This specimen appears to just have begin budding when he collected it.
This is a letter to Dr. Keefe from Professor Albert Legault regarding a possible plant specimen exchange. Legault's institution, the University of Sherbrooke, wanted specimens from Florida, Oklahoma, and Wisonconsin in exchange for serpentine flora.
This is a carbon copy of the first page of Florida plants that Fr. Keefe sent Prof. Legault. It goes along with the March 1970 letter to Prof. Legault. You can see the plant totals of each column hand-written at the bottom of the page.
